The Hometown Firefighters from Lake Jericho Fire on duty Fire Crews, accompanied by some of their immediate family was honored to be able to turn out to support the City of Campbellsburg and its Fire Department at its annual event known as “Campbellsburg Day”. When asked about their participation Lifetime Member and Past Assistant Fire Chief Clinton Vinup responded by saying that “this type of event is not only a privilege to be able to support our mutual department and their awesome city but to be able to let their citizens see our department family, provides an opportunity for fellowship with other participating mutual aid partners, and allows the opportunity for everyone in their community to ask questions about the type and kind of 247 day a week staffing, fire prevention, preparedness and response services we provide as well as the specialized equipment we have to offer.” Their Fire Chief Mike Schaub echoed past Assistant Chief Vinup’s sentiments and also added that “this is a great opportunity for our family’s to also share in the fun and joy of doing things like this in our community.”
