| Honoring leadership, commitment to service, and continuing to honor of the rich History of Fire Service tradition. Similarly, for those advancing within the ranks, the badge pinning ceremony serves as a testament to their hard-earned knowledge and skills, expertise, and leadership. It signifies their readiness to undertake greater responsibilities in safeguarding their community. This ceremony pays homage to their past, celebrates the present, and ignites aspirations for the future, fostering their obvious profound unity and purpose that enriches not only their community but their mutual aid partners. One of the guest speakers and Fire Chief Emeritus Chief Rick Beaman also the Director for Emergency Management for the City of Austin Texas W/S who made the trek North to attend the event said “We’re proud of our Firefighters and their leadership , grateful for their families, and I am honored to be a part of them as they continually demonstrate respect for their community, revere the services tradition and are obviously truly committed to a responsible pursuit of progression”. This marked occasion was attended by several area dignitaries such as the Commonwealth of Kentucky Representative the Honorable Felicia Rabourn, Henry County Judge Executive Scott Bates, Deputy Judge Executive Travis Bucannon, Henry County Magistrates Roger Hartlage and Dan Shain, the City of Campbellsburg Mayor Dave Gray, his City Clerk Mrs. Kim Boyer, and their Public Works Director Mr.Bill Brown, Fire Chief David Noe, his Senior Command staff and other distinguished guests and family members. Several Awards were presented such as the Fire Department Advocacy Award to the Henry County Judge Executive and the Fire Chief’s Choice Award to Mayor Dave Gray, his City Clerk, Public Works Director and their City Council. |
